Daxie Walks & Care began with something simple — a woman and her dachshunds walking through London every day, rain or shine. What started as a personal routine quickly grew into a true calling: caring for dogs as if they were family, understanding their personalities, and creating a service built on trust, reliability, and genuine love.
As a lifelong dachshund owner, I learned first-hand how unique these little characters are. Their bravery, their stubborn streak, their need for gentle handling, and their sensitive backs — dachshunds aren’t just “any dog,” they require someone who truly understands them. Over time, friends, neighbours, and people in local parks began asking me to walk or check in on their own dogs, especially their dachshunds, because they saw how calm, happy, and safe mine were under my care.
What began as helping a friend turned into something much bigger. I realised there was a need for a service that didn’t feel rushed or commercial… something personal, dedicated, and delivered with real heart. That is how Daxie Walks & Care was born — a small, local pet-care service built on compassion, consistency, and the belief that every dog deserves exceptional care.
Today, I specialise in dachshunds, while also caring for other small breeds who fit well within my home and walking style. Whether it’s a gentle walk, a pop-in visit, feeding, companionship, or simply keeping your dog company while you’re out, I treat every pet as if they were my own. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and routine always come first.
This isn’t just a service to me — it’s a passion. Every dog I care for becomes part of my extended little pack, and every owner becomes someone who can rely on me with confidence and peace of mind.
